Garrett Waite is a multifaceted performer of astounding originality and variety. He is a musician, magician, and actor, maintaining a distinct style in all three disciplines.
When Garrett was three, he stretched rubber bands across a cardboard box and played it like a guitar. His first album was released in 2012 at the age of fourteen. He began playing acoustic sets in coffee shops, then rock and blues in local bars, and now composes his own creative mixture of jazz, rock, and hip hop. His main instrument is guitar, but he also frequently plays bass (both electric and upright) and is an accomplished vocalist.
He began studying and perfecting magic in first grade, and has since become respected both by captivated audiences and fellow magicians for his impeccable slight of hand, creative original material, and good-natured performing style.
As an actor, Waite has appeared in high school productions, community theater, and student films. He has played diverse characters including the Porter (Macbeth), Peter Van Daan (The Diary of Anne Frank), the Modern Major General (Pirates of Penzance), and Death (Death and All His Friends).
Garrett is currently studying jazz guitar at Berklee College of Music. He has been busy perfecting his craft, composing new music, and gigging.
